Working with Dwelltech: What to Expect
Q: How long does the energy audit take?
A:
A typical energy audit takes approximately three to four hours to complete, but varies on the size of the home.
Q: When do I get my diagnosis and report?
A:
Once we've completed the audit, our professionals will take the results and put together a complete diagnosis,
detailed in an easy-to-understand report. This document also contains recommendations on improvements, and cost
estimates and timetables for making the improvements. Our professionals meet with you to review and help you decide
on a plan of what improvements to make and when. We attempt to have the report to you the same day.
Q: Do I have to get my improvements done through Dwelltech?
A:
Our auditing and repair/improvement services are designed to work together. We believe by combining both, we can
offer our customers a one-stop experience to reduce the extra hassle and expense of lining up separate professionals
in each area. Our motto is one call does it all - an added benefit we believe our busy clients will appreciate
and deserve.
Q: How long will the repairs/improvements take to complete?
A:
We make every attempt to get in and get the job done as quickly as possible. Before we schedule your project, we
review the list of improvements and determine how to best coordinate them so we are as least disruptive as possible.
Before we get started with any work, we will let you know how long we think your project will take to complete.
Typically, most improvements can be done within one to two days for common repairs and longer for more complex solutions.
Q: What sort of guarantees do you provide?
A:
After we have completed our work, we will provide you with a validation so that you can be assured that the investment
you made has been worth it. If you are not satisfied with the improvements, we will work with you to make sure that
you have the peace of mind that your home is as energy efficient as possible given the projects you decided to undertake.
Q: How much can I expect to pay?
A:
The energy audit portion of our service is cost competitive. As for the repairs/improvements, you have our promise
that we will look for the best possible prices available. All of the fees and expenses will be explained to you up
front so there will be no surprises.
Q: I live in a lakefront property. Are there special considerations that I need to be aware of?
A:
By nature of their location, lakefront homes must withstand elements not typical in other areas - high winds and
increased precipitation to name a few. When it comes to lakefront homes, our professionals are experts in making
these properties as sound and therefore as energy efficient as possible - to withstand even the most harsh natural conditions.
